We go back to the Mexicali Live in Teaneck, NJ on a cold wintry night, where we join YouTube sensation Stephen Jerzak already in progress…

This is Toreador Jerzak. It’s hardly representative of his concert, but I liked the serious bullfighter look, so I went with it.

Back to the smiles, and sticking with black and white:

Here’s a video from the show. One of this pics might be from that song. No way to tell.

As oasis of color coming next. Most pics wound up in black and white because they looked better that way. At Mexicali, you can be fighting the colored spotlights a bunch and creating confusing pictures. Sometimes, sucking all that color out is the only way around it. Sometimes, it also starts looking cool and retro.

But first, look at the cameras and camera phones getting a workout:

85mm, f/1.85, ISO 2500, 1/250s
The girls in the front row loved him, as it should be at any concert:

28mm, f/1.8, ISO 2500, 1/80s

85mm, f/2.2, ISO 2500, 1/160s
This was the last pic I took of Jerzak’s set. Works well as a closer, I think:
