Here’s a nice explanation of the aperture stops scale, and why they are the way they are. Hint: Humans are better at making out large differences than smaller. Click through to see what I mean.

* Scott Bourne says, “Quitcher excuses and yey belly achin’!” And I agree. Still, I’d love a Canon 10-22mm lens, a 70-200mm f/2.8L, and maybe a 5D Mark II while I’m at it.

* Here’s a fascinating new rumor: Canon lenses to include radio triggers? A new ST-E2 would be used to fire them off. That would be scary to the other radio remote companies, I’d have to think. They can sit back for a little while, though, as the production problems in Japan show no signs in abating yet.
