This afternoon, I went out to the local park on my lunch hour to try a time lapse. Unfortunately, I left my tripod at home. What’s a guy to do?
Here’s what “the office” looked like:
That’s my Canon XTi with a Tamron 17-35mm lens. The battery grip helps prop the camera up, and the lens is held up in place by my wallet and the plate that usually connects the camera to the tripod. (I forgot the tripod, but the plate was still screwed onto the camera, thankfully.)
You can see the intervelometer hanging off behind the camera.
I’m glad I didn’t need to resort to propping things up with spare sticks and rock…
Sadly, I’m not so sure the final movie will be any great shakes, but if it is, I’ll be sure to post it here.
