Finally, the last of the snow is melting around here. This picture comes from last year at about this same time. Nature is certainly repeating itself this year from last.
I had my 70-300mm lens racked out to 300mm for this shot and still managed a 1/400th of a second shutter speed. That doesn’t work for the commonly accepted wisdom that your shutter speed should be one over the focal length (after crop sensor multiplier), but I’ll credit a steady hand for pulling this odd.
Elsewhere, the melting snow provided for a frame that couldn’t be passed up.
