Reflections Everywhere

Sometimes, you can get them in your minorly flooded basement, too.  In black and white, no less:

28mm Prime Lens, ISO 1250, f/2.6, 1/50 second

The trick to this picture is getting the camera low enough without getting it wet. I tried using the swing out LCD screen on my Canon 60D, but the focusing was so slow in live view that it drove me nuts. So I did a little chimping. Stick the camera down low, chimp the shot, adjust and shoot again. Took a few tries, but I finally came close enough to the framing I was going for.

I converted it to black and white because the colors did nothing for the image — a rather pale yellow/brown wall, a green hose, and a middle toned pond of water. Ick. I think the reflection works better in black and white, and that’s what I was looking for in this pic, so I’ll take it.
